On November 1, we celebrate All Saints’ Day. On this occasion, it is worth mentioning the stars of the music world who we had to say goodbye to this year. Among them were outstanding figures who went down in the history of neo soul, jazz, pop and broadly understood guitar music.
Music stars we said goodbye to in 2025
In 2025, we said goodbye to an exceptionally large number of rock and metal stars. They were among them Ozzy Osbourne – legendary leader Black Sabbath and a true metal icon, Brent Hinds – former vocalist and guitarist of the band Mastodon, Ace Frehley – former guitarist Kiss, Tomas Lindberg – vocalist At The Gates Whether Sam Rivers – bassist Limp Bizkit.
We also recently lost one of the pioneers of neo soul – D’Angelo. The 51-year-old singer lost his battle with cancer. His performance in Poland as part of the Open’er Festival in 2015 is still remembered by many fans as one of the best concerts of this event.
This year, many stars on our home stage also passed away. These included, among others: Joka – known primarily for his work in a hip-hop band Caliber 44, Stanisław Sojka – jazz and pop singer, DJ Hazel – club artist, or Jacek Śliwczyński – cooperating until 1989 with T. Love.
