Marek Lechki and Monika Filipowicz are responsible for directing the series, and Agata Malesińska and Maciej Kowalewski created the script based on the novel. The producer is Dagmara Bończyk. The executive producers of all three adaptations are Andrzej Muszyński and Harlan Coben.
“History begins when Greta receives a mysterious photo in which she sees her husband. Violence suddenly appears in her life, and secrets from the past come to light,” says Harlan Coben. – “The twists will accompany us to the very end of this story. I like the sixth episode the most. I think that viewers will not only be surprised, but also really move when watching it.”
“We will also be able to see Greta from the past, because there is a lot of flashbacks in our series,” says Maria Dębska about her character. – “My heroine was a completely different person 15 years ago. In fact, it is only the combination of these two periods of life is the key to solving the mystery of the series.”
“Only one look” is a suspenseful story about a happily married jewelry designer, whose world falls into pieces when he discovers the mysterious old photo of his husband in the company of strangers. Determined, in order to learn the details of the case, she delves into a network of secrets and lies that threaten her loved ones and forces her to question everything she has believed so far.
“In the series I play the figure of Jacek – an engineer, a loving husband, father, a wonderful two children. He is a responsible man, I think that above all happiness of his family” – describes his role by Cezary Łukaszewicz. – “However, we meet him at a very difficult moment. The past is just getting him and forces him to confront the decisions made once.”
“Jimmy is a rather mysterious type. It can be said that he becomes a spirit of the past. My hero in some way connects two worlds – his actions from 15 years ago change the lives of many people” – says Piotr Stramowski. – “The role of his character was a new and extremely satisfying experience for me. Not only because Harlan creates very charismatic characters, but also because I could sing a song composed by Marcin Macuk especially for our series.”
