First season “Nobody wants this” debuted on Netflix on September 26, 2024 and unexpectedly attracted viewers from all over the world. Shortly after its premiere, the American comedy series was included in the Polish series top list. The audience appreciated his humor and lightness in telling stories.
In this light comedy, the fates of the devoted rabbi Noah and the liberated podcaster Joanne intertwine. The characters, who meet during one of their mutual friends’ parties, unexpectedly fall in love with each other. From then on, they constantly balance between the expectations of their surroundings and the feelings that connect them.
In the second installment of the series, which debuted on October 23, the characters face new challenges. Joanne will try to find her way in the life of the Roklov family, but her mother and sister will not give her any respite. In turn, Noah will receive a new job offer and discover the bitter truth about his behavior in the relationship. They return in the main roles Adam Brody and Kristen Bell. Their screen partners include, among others: Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons, Paul Ben-Victor and Tovah Feldshuh.
It’s official. Netflix has just announced that there will be a third season of the series “Nobody Wants This”.
“I couldn’t be more excited to start working on the third season of this series,” creator Erin Foster said in a statement. “It’s a real privilege to be able to write about my favorite couple on such a large scale. As long as it doesn’t take up too much of my time watching reality shows in the evenings, I’ll keep doing it for as long as they want me to!” – she added.
The main actress, Kristen Bell, recently revealed that work on the script for new episodes is underway.
“The scriptwriters are working at the moment. (As an actor) you never know if you will be able to shoot something, because it is beyond our responsibility and it (Netflix) decides which series will be created. But the scriptwriters are working right now,” the actress said in an interview with Parade.
