Next year’s edition Mystic Festival is planned for June 3-6, 2026. The event will normally take place at the Gdańsk Shipyard. Recently, the event organizers confirmed that the next star – next to the one belonging to Zakk Wylde Black Label Society – will be Megadeth. The Thrash metal band will visit Gdańsk as part of their farewell tour.
At the festival we will also see: Anthrax, Forbidden, Overkill, Blood Incantation, the Gathering, Six Feet Under, Septicflesh, Master Boot Record, Embryonic Autopsy, Kublai Khan TX, Scour, Acid King, Winterfylleth, Down, Ice Nine Kills, Evergrey, Martyrdöd, Marduk, BØLZER, Static-X, thrown, Gaahls Wyrd and Blood Vulture.
More bands are joining the Mystic Festival!
“Everything has its time and sometimes you have to wait for the best things. Concerts Corrosion Of Conformity, Coroner, letlive. and Djerv at the Gdańsk Shipyard in June next year,” we read in an entry published on Mystic Festival’s social media profiles.
A band from Raleigh Corrosion of Conformity was founded in 1982 on the initiative of the guitarist Woody Weatherman. The band’s line-up has undergone many changes over the years, currently the guitarist is accompanied by a bassist Bobby Landgrafdrummer Stanton Moore and a guitarist and vocalist Pepper Keenan. The group was initially strongly inspired by the hardcore punk scene, but over time moved to playing slower compositions in which we can hear influences of blues, heavy metal, and later also stoner and slugde metal. The album released in 1994 enjoys the greatest recognition among fans “Deliverance”which included hits such as “Albatross” Whether “Clean My Wounds”.
Coroner is a Swiss formation from Zurich. In the years 1983-1996 they were at the forefront of the genre known today as “technical thrash metal”. The band was appreciated for weaving progressive elements into harder compositions. At one point they were even called “Rush thrash metal”. In 1996, the group suspended its activities. However, fans saw their return in 2010. Now Coroner will visit Poland, promoting their new album “Dissonance Theory“which premiered on October 17, 2025.
Additionally, a post-hardcore band will also appear at the festival letlive.! He commands the formation Jason Aalon Butler known especially for his works Fever 333. However, his first band was letlive., which returned to the big stages after years of break!
The latest list of bands ends with Norwegian Djerv with the singer Agnete Kjølsrud in the lead. At the moment, the group can boast of one studio album “Djerv”exploring the areas between rock and metal.
