Netflix has a new number one. Poles can’t break away

“Christmas Jump” is another Christmas novelty from Netflix. Recently, titles such as “Christmas with an Ex” and “Champagne Christmas” have been added to the library. Both productions quickly topped the ranking of the TOP 10 most popular recent films in Poland. It’s similar in the case of “Christmas Jump”.

The film debuted on November 26 and is currently at number one. It is ahead of, among others, “Champagne Christmas”, “Five Nightmares” and “Train Dreams”. Just one day was enough for Poles to eagerly reach for the new streaming giant.

Sophia, a bright shop worker, and Nick, an unlucky handyman, are petty thieves who set their sights on the same loot on Christmas Eve – a robbery of the most famous department store in London. Forced into an uneasy alliance, they discover secrets from each other, and the emerging feelings begin to complicate both their relationship and the entire heist.

Sophia will be played by Olivia Holt, best known for her role in “Cloak & Dagger”, in which she played the role of Tandy Bowen. His portfolio also includes appearances in “Heart Eyes”, “Cruel Summer”, “From the Hoof” and “To nie ja”. Her on-screen partner as Nick will be a star known from four seasons of the Netflix hit – “Sex Education” – in which he played Adam Groff. Connor Swindells recently also appeared in “Barbie”, “Without a Trace”, “Scoop” and “Emma”.

In addition to the main actors, Peter Serafinowicz, Lucy Punch, Poppy Drayton, Ed Kear, James Dryden, Aylin Scott, Anabel Kutay, Michael Salami, Alara-Star Khan, Natasha Joseph, Ntierna Xavier Knight, Ada Player and Mariah Louca will also appear on the screen. “Christmas Heist” is directed by Michael Fimognari and written by Abby McDonald.
