On May 24, 2023, the film “Mother’s Day” premiered, which was distributed by Netflix. The plot touches on the fate of Nina, who lives in hiding the former NATO agent, who faces the task of regaining her son. “This is impossible. This cannot be done” – we hear in the trailer.
“Mother’s Day” is a perverse action movie, in which the main heroine overcomes the demons of the past most often with the help of her own fists. Agnieszka Grochowska played the main role in the film, which we associate with such productions as “Without shame”, “Kos”, “Foreign Body” or “Just love me”. On the screen she is accompanied by, among others Dorota Kolak, Konrad Eleryk, Jowita Budnik, Sebastian Dela and Dariusz Chojnacki.
The director of the film is Mateusz Rakowicz, who previously realized, among others “Nadm. He loves, steals, respects” or “Warsaw station”. The script was created together with Łukasz M. Maciejewski, who also wrote scripts for the production of “Brat”, “Red Spider” and “Hidden Network”.
The film will be broadcast on Mother’s Day, on Monday, May 26 at 20.00, on the TV Puls channel. He will present to viewers a large dose of solid action cinema, fighting scenes and suspenseful dialogues.
