In the mid -1990s, Clint Eastwood and Meryl Streep met on the set of a romantic drama “What happened in Madison County”. In a recent interview with CBS, the three -time Oscar winner shared her work experience in that film set. It turns out that a friend from the plan has been very much for her!
“Clint was a man who was the most intimidating of all other men. Not because of what he did, but because of what he did not do. He did not do any unnecessary gestures. He never lifted his voice, while one time. He is an instinctive, no -free filmmaker” – she recalled.
“What happened in Madison County” is an American romantic drama from 1995, which was based on a best -selling novel of the same title by Robert James Waller. The producer and director of the film was Clint Eastwood, who also played one of the main characters. Meryl Streep accompanied him on the screen.
