Lionel Richie reveals the surprising truth about Michael Jackson. “He couldn’t give up clothes for washing”
“This is a story about my life from the last two or three years. There is always a truth behind music. Most often it is my own truth, but sometimes I inspire myself with the stories of other people. I think it is important to look deep into myself, but also look around” – said Bocelli in an interview with Maks Behr for the program “Halo Tu Polsat”.
The title of the album can be understood literally, but the singer emphasizes that he meant not only the feeling between two people.
“It’s not only falling in love with someone, but also falling in love with life. I think that every day it is worth trying to fall in love again” – he added.
First infatuation and family love lessons
Matteo Bocelli openly says that he learned the most about love at home. His relationship with his father, Andrea Bocellhas been very close for years – also artistically, because gentlemen often perform together.
“Music is important, but we live thanks to love. Love is the drive of this world” – noted Matteo.
He survived his first romantic infatuation in primary school. “It was so real,” he recalled with a smile. Like many young people, he also had his film idol. – “After my friend from school, it was the turn of … Angelina Jolie. Unfortunately, this time the feeling could not be reciprocated” – he joked.
Mushroom picking, olive and old jeeps
Although his professional life is mainly music and travel, Bocelli finds time for completely different classes. Some of them may surprise.
“Recently, I got into mushroom picking. We’re looking for real ones,” the artist admitted.
However, this is not his only passion. Matteo with friends produces olive oil, and also renew old off -road cars.
“These things relax me a lot and help me keep creativity,” he explained.
For music, such classes are a way to maintain balance after long months of concerts, flights and interviews. – “You are on the road for several months. Then you go home and slow down,” he added.
Matteo Bocelli: I worked with fantastic people
Matteo Bocelli’s second album is the result of cooperation with many producers and musicians. The artist himself admits that he is particularly proud of this album.
“It’s a really well -refined album. I like the stories I tell in these songs. I worked with fantastic people. It is great to work with people who believe in you – in my opinion this is the key to every career” – he said.
Soon, Matteo Bocelli will set off on a concert tour, in which he will also visit Poland. There is a good chance that he will also go to the forest again – this time in search of Polish real ones.
