Maryla Rodowicz This is not only one of the greatest stars of the Polish stage, but also a character whose private life has aroused great interest for decades. The artist was associated with many well -known men – among them were Daniel Olbrychski, Andrzej Jaroszewicz and Krzysztof Jasiński, with whom two children had.
In 1986, the singer married a businessman Andrzej Dużyński. Their marriage lasted 30 years and ended in divorce in 2021, although they parted five years earlier. Since then, Rodowicz officially lives alone – and, as he emphasizes, he values it very much.
Loneliness instead of compromises
In an interview with the Pomponik service, the singer openly admitted that she is no longer looking for love and does not miss the relationship. “I sacrificed everything. I suffered terribly …” – she confessed, remembering her former relationships.
Today, instead of romantic elation, he chooses peace and freedom. “What a comfort is that I sit alone. I can focus 100 % on music. (…) Music is a jealous lover and does not tolerate competition” – she added.
Independence has its price
Although Rodowicz does not hide that the life of a single gives her freedom and a sense of security, she also admitted that she has a practical drawback. “The only drawback of being a single is the fact that I have to pay bills myself,” she jokingly summed up.
However, this is the only shadow in the picture of loneliness, which in her case appears as a conscious choice rather than necessity.
Rodowicz, despite the passage of years, still remains artistically active. He regularly gives concerts, records new songs and emphasizes that it is music that gives the meaning of her everyday life. Her words are part of the image of an artist who devotes all his energy to the scene without looking back.
At a time when many show business stars decide on loud relationships and media romances, Rodowicz chose a different path – focus on creativity and full independence.
