Mark Mendoza does not rule out the return of Twisted Sister. So what are they waiting for?

Mark Mendoza recently recalled that the members of Twisted Sister maintain regular contact and remain in good relationships.

“We talk to each other often. We are all friends,” he said in one of the interviews. He also mentioned that despite the loss of drummer AJ Pero, the group still feels like a family.

However, relations between musicians can be turbulent. Mendoza revealed that the band members have a common chat room where heated opinions are regularly exchanged.

“Once every two months someone writes something stupid and a nuclear war breaks out. I read these discussions, I take part in them and I cry with laughter,” he said with humor.

The question of Twisted Sister’s return to musical activity remains open. Mendoza admitted that although there are no specific plans currently, the team has not ruled out the possibility.

“If we’re all able to get on stage and none of us dies, which hopefully won’t happen, then it’s a possibility. But for now, none of us are saying, ‘Let’s do it next year,'” he said.

The band’s vocalist, Dee Snider, spoke in a similar tone some time ago during a visit to the “The Hook Rocks!” podcast. He noted that Twisted Sister has no specific plans to return yet, at the same time admitting that the band has started to consider various scenarios.

Twisted Sister: what band is this?

The band was formed in New York and is known for humorous music videos often broadcast on MTV in the 1980s. The musicians were inspired by AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Alice Cooper. Twisted Sister’s biggest hits are “We’re Not Gonna Take It” and “I Wanna Rock”. They ended their activity in 2016 after over 40 years on the stage. The group’s last concerts were a tribute to the deceased drummer AJ Pero.
