Marcjanna Lelek was born on February 25, 1995 and spent almost her entire childhood on the set of the Poles’ favorite series. Lelek was less than 10 years old when she first appeared on the set “M jak miłość”to play the role of Natalka – the adopted daughter of Marek and Hanka. However, we have not seen the actress in “M jak miłość” for several years.
Marcjanna Lelek is studying directing at the Łódź Film School and – as she says – she now wants to devote all her time and energy to directing. The former star of “M jak miłość” does not intend to return to the series that made her recognizable and brought her great sympathy from viewers.
“A long time ago (six years, I think?) my cooperation with the series loosened up and ended definitively when I got accepted to study directing at the film school. Nothing has changed, I live and study in Łódź, I’m in my fourth year now. (…) I’m already in a different place in my life and I dream of a time when I’ll be associated with my own films, and not this series, I probably still have to work a bit harder for it, but it’s slowly happening” – Marcjanna Lelek she said in an interview with Pudelek.
Her debut film “I’m Here” was shown at festivals. Her latest short film, “Tomorrow Night It Rained,” was among the films competing for an award in the Short Film Competition at the 49th Polish Film Festival.
