In April 1980, the album was released “Iron Maiden”the heavy metal legend’s debut. The band’s leader took part in its recording Steve Harris (bass), deceased Paul Di’Anno (vocal), DaveMurray (guitar), Dennis Stratton (guitar) and drummer, who died in 2013 Clive Burr. Still in the lineup today Iron Maiden Harris and Murray remain.

Dutch project on European tour “The 1980 Show” from 2024 will return with a series of concerts “The 1980 Reprise”. At the end of October 2026, the band will give three performances in Poland, and will be accompanied on stage by 73-year-old Dennis Stratton, who performed with Iron Maiden from December 1979 to October 1980. Although this period lasted less than a year, he went down in metal history as the guitarist from the debut album, which produced such famous songs as, among others: “Running Free”, “Prowler”, “Remember Tomorrow” and “Iron Maiden”.

The beginnings of Maiden UniteD date back to 2006 – then the bassist Joey Bruers was invited to play a tribute at the convention of the Dutch Iron Maiden fan club in Dynamo (Eindhoven). Steve Harris himself was present at the event and gave two thumbs up for this acoustic project.
In later years, Maiden UniteD was supported by such famous musicians as guests in the studio and on stage, such as vocalists formerly associated with Iron Maiden Paul Di’Anno and Blaze Bayleyand also Anneke van Giersbergen (vocalist The Gathering), Perttu Kivilaakso (Apocalyptica) i LeeMorris (former drummer Paradise Lost).
