Later in an interview with Howard Stern, Jake Gyllenhaal admitted that he was always the reason for the breakdown of his romantic relationships. He also confessed that he had been in love twice in his life. One of his loves was Kirsten, who married actor Jesse Plemons in 2022. The couple had two children.
