“Crusade” is a crime-thriller series about the life and work of officers of the Warsaw Police Headquarters.
What will the second series be about? The story’s flashpoint is a tragic event in a supermarket, where a moment later the police find sixteen kilograms of illegal substances. During the investigation, it quickly turns out that it’s not just about gang wars. The investigations are handled by: Commissioner Louisiana, already known to viewers (Thomas Schuchardt) and a young policeman Bronek ( transferred from the narcotics department) (Sebastian Dela).
The series’ advantage is its young cast. The leading role is played by Sebastian Dela he is a promising actor of the young generation (“Brothers”, “Clowns”, “#BringbackAlice”). Martyna, Bronek’s beloved, will be played by Zofia Jastrzębskawho delighted viewers in the series “Infamy”. Paula – a policewoman cooperating with Bronek and Louisiana – plays Marta Stalmierska. She is the winner of the award for acting debut at the festival in Gdynia in 2022 for her performances in films “Apocawix” and “Johnny”.
Viewers will also see Mariusz Bonaszewski on screen again. The cast will also be joined by: Mirosław Haniszewski, Paulina Gałązka, Monika Pikuła.
The second season is also directed by Łukasz Ostalski. The series is produced by Akson Studio on behalf of TVP.
A young woman in advanced pregnancy dies in an accident. Two years later. Bronek Jamroży, an undercover police officer, recruits a famous rapper and dealer – Kuba Nogacki – for secret cooperation. Following Kuba, Bronek ends up at the home of a wealthy entrepreneur, Grzegorz Berger, where an exhibition of Berger’s wife’s sculptures is taking place. At the exhibition, the young officer meets Martyna – a beautiful interior designer.
Meanwhile, Commissioner Ludwik Bończyk “Luizjana” and his new partner – Deputy Commissioner Paula Karmańska are investigating the murder of a security guard in front of a supermarket. Right after the murder, a large amount of banned drugs is found in the supermarket. The investigation is led by officers from the narcotics department – Jaskółka and Zeman.
