Laura Gajewska (Vanessa Alexander) returns from Warsaw to his family home in a small town due to the tragic news about the death of his mother Maria (Małgorzata Foremniak). He learns that a terminally ill woman died suddenly in strange circumstances. The body was found by Jerzy Gajewski (Ireneusz Czop), her husband and Laura's father. The daughter quickly becomes suspicious of the version of events told to her by her family.
