“Blood 2” is a continuation of a dark story appreciated by viewers and reviewers, in which the Gajewski family is the center. We will see the characters known from the first season again on the screen.
The production stars: Ireneusz Czop as the father of the family – Jerzy Gajewski, as well as Katarzyna Z. Michalska as his daughter Alicja, Kamil Kula as Alicja's husband Patryk, Piotr Głowacki – police commissioner and Monika Krzywkowska, Olaf Lubaszenko and Maciej Musiałowski. Directed by Marcin Ziębiński, known, among others, from such productions as: “Signs”, “Dublerzy”, “Commissioner Mama” and “Banksters”.
Jerzy Gajewski (Ireneusz Czop), after being released from prison, tries to put his life back together. Unfortunately, the time of peace does not last long. This time, serious problems will hang over the head of the older daughter, Alicja (Katarzyna Z. Michalska), who seemingly is a model of an ideal wife and mother.
“Blood” is a series full of complicated relationships and issues that are not discussed. In addition to the main crime plot, the series reveals many psychological problems of the family: three siblings competing for their father's favor, romance, lies and marital problems. And all this in a small, stuffy town, where difficult matters tend to be hidden.
The production trailer was released at the end of February 2024.
The first season of “Blood” takes place around the main plot of the investigation. It is run on her own by Laura Gajewska (Vanessa Aleksander), who returns to her family home in a small town due to the tragic death of her mother, Maria (Małgorzata Foremniak). Maria's body was found by Jerzy Gajewski (Ireneusz Czop), her husband and Laura's father. The daughter quickly becomes suspicious of the version of events told to her by her family.
The series was commissioned by Polsat television, under license from the Irish production “Blood”, appreciated by critics around the world. “The Guardian” hailed it as one of the most powerful dramas of recent years.
All episodes of the first season of “Krwi” are available in the Polsat Box Go Premium package. The production debuted in October 2023. The premiere episode of the second season will premiere on April 5.
