“Tränenpalast” (German: palace of tears) is the second one – after the one released at the end of September “Seven Serpents” – single from “Krushers Of The World”the first album by the German thrash metal pioneers in four years. This song is a tribute to the film “Noises” (Italian “Suspiria”; 1977) the Italian master of horror films Daria Argenta. The main melody, as we read, refers to the original soundtrack created by the legendary prog-metal group Goblin from Italy, and gives it a melodic death metal touch. The text features the “three mothers” – an ancient gathering of witches from the film “Sounds”.
Let us add that “Sounds” was the first film from the so-called trilogy “Three Mothers” Argento. This picture was recognized as the third best horror film in the history of cinema according to the magazine “Total Film” from Great Britain, and one of the 500 best films of all time according to “Empire” magazine.

“‘Tränenpalast‘ is our tribute to the great tradition of Italian cinema. We took inspiration from a classic movie ‘Suspiria’ by Dario Argenta and its perfect masterful remake Luka Guadagnino. As for the music itself, we bow to the great Goblin in direct conversation with the maestro Claudio Simonetti. We hope you like this song as much as we do,” he said about the new single Mille Petrozzaguitar-playing vocalist and leader of Kreator.

A music video was shot for the premiere composition by “masters of the macabre” from a renowned Wrocław production house Group 13 (including Behemoth, Amon Amarth, Kreator, Eluveitie, Sonata Arctica). The Kreator musicians perform in the scenery of a haunted ballet school from the above-mentioned cult film by the Italian master of giallo horror cinema. The terrifying whole is complemented by disturbing figures of witches in various stages of transformation.

Let us recall that after presenting history Creator documentary film “Hate & Hope”which premiered on July 2 on International Film Festival in Munich, and the recent publication of the book “Your Heaven, My Hell”the autobiography of the band’s frontman Mille Petrozzathe band from Essen is getting ready to release “Krushers Of The World” – the 16th studio album in the over 40-year career of the Teutonic thrash icon, representative of the so-called The Big Four of Teutonic Thrash (next to Destruction, Sodom and Tankard).
Creator: “Krushers Of The World”. What do we already know about the new album?
“‘Krushers Of The World’ is not a timid title – it is a statement, an expression of pride and self-awareness, considering the path the band has been following for so long, and what it has to say and share with an ever-growing fan base. After the hype around the film and book, it’s time for Kreator to let the riffs, furious vocals and thunderous drums speak,” we read about the new achievement of the German thrash legend.
The successor of the album “Hate Über Alles” (2022) recorded in the studio Fascination Street in Örebro, Sweden, where he sat at the console Jens Bogren. The Swedish producer was previously responsible for the sound of two other Kreator albums: “Phantom Antichrist” (2012) i “Gods Of Violence” (2017).
The author of the cover of “Krushers Of The World” is an artist from Krakow who is extremely appreciated in the world of metal music Zbigniew Bielakauthor of covers decorating albums, among others Ghost, Darkthrone, Dimmu Borgir, Sodom, Mayhem, Imperial Triumphant, Watain and representatives of the Polish scene, headed by Vader, Behemoth and Fog.
The cover of the new album is a kind of tribute to the band that Zbigniew Bielak loved as a teenager, as it features classic visual hallmarks referring to canonical Kreator albums such as “Pleasure To Kill” (1986, iconic logo) i “Coma Of Souls” (1990) and EPs “Out Of The Dark… Into The Light” (1988), creating a detailed, heraldic tapestry inlaid with occult symbols.
The album “Krushers Of The World” will be released on January 16, 2026 by the German Nuclear Blast Records (including CD, vinyl, digitally). Less than three months after its premiere, Kreator will perform in Poland as part of a large-scale European tour covering 20 countries.
The wizard returns to Poland in good company. Who will they play with and where?
On April 15, 2026, Kreator will perform at COS Torwar in Warsaw. They will be accompanied by equally important and interesting guests: the iconic British band Carcass cleverly balancing on the border between melodic death metal and grind; American Exodusa leading representative of the famous thrash scene from the San Francisco Bay; and a California band Nails from the borderline of powerviolence and hard- and grindcore.
As a chronicler, let us remind you that Kreator is a group that needs no introduction to thrash metal fans. The band from Essen was founded in 1982 and began operating under the name Kreator two years later. In the original line-up alongside a guitarist and vocalist Milando Petrozza found a drummer Jürgen “Ventor” Reil and bassist Rob Fioretti. Their second studio album “Pleasure To Kill” changed the face of European thrash, becoming a classic that continues to inspire young bands to this day. Currently, the vocalist and drummer are accompanied by a Finnish guitarist Sami Yli-Sirniö and a French bassist Frédéric Leclercqformer musician of the British band DragonForce.
