“Kitchen Revolutions”: sad finale of the revolution. This is not what viewers expected

“Kitchen Revolutions” is a program that has conquered the hearts of viewers for years, helping restaurants in difficult moments and supporting entrepreneurs in finding their path on the gastronomic map of Poland. On February 27, the jubilee edition of the program hit the TVN antenna. In one of the latest episodes we saw the sad final of the revolution.

In the second episode of the new season of “Kitchen evolution”, viewers could see the stunning transformation of the “Baszta” premises from Świdnica. The owner was 31-year-old Jakub, who spent almost half a million zlotys on a restaurant, which did not bring profits. The viewers could be surprised by the fact that the man practically dealt with cooking, waiter and delivery. Employees quickly left him, but he could count on family support.

Magda Gessler She strictly assessed the interior and prepared dishes, and she also directed unfavorable comments to the kitchen, which, although superficially clean, had several shortcomings. After all, the restaurateur decided to cooperate with the premises – the interior colors were changed and the name was tuned to “Eat and Tower”.

But before there was serious changes, Magda Gessler received a private message from a woman who said she had important information in connection with the premises and asked for a meeting in private. The mysterious woman turned out to be a former partner of the owner, who confessed that for a restaurant and a man she devoted her studies, private life, and also took a loan at the opening of a restaurant. In addition, her father was to make the furniture, for which he did not receive payment.

The information shook Magda Gessler, who immediately invited Jakub to an interview. As a result of the findings, he was obliged to regulate his ex -partner’s obligations.

Unfortunately, when it was time to visit Świdnik again, after a successful final dinner, the restaurateur found an empty place. On the spot, she met the owner who confessed that he was forced to close the business for good.

“There was a larger number of people who came here before the broadcast, but after closing the garden, revenues began to be equal to the costs and I was not able to run this restaurant. You opened my eyes when I saw that since they were long and it is not possible to repay them, I came to the conclusion that you had to close this chapter and move forward.”

Magda Gessler left Świdnik disappointed, summarizing her visit with the words:

“This is a sad story about a young man who had everything and could not use anything.”
