One of the world’s most popular representatives of alternative rock will perform at the TAURON Arena in Krakow on July 17. The organizer of the concert is the Prestige MJM agency. This will be one of only two concerts Kings of Leon scheduled for 2024 in continental Europe. Ticket sales start on Wednesday, February 28.
So far, the band has performed in Poland six times. Members of Kings of Leon visited our country on the occasion of the Open’er Festival – in 2009, 2013 and 2017 and the Orange Warsaw Festival in 2014. They also gave concerts in Krakow in 2016 and in Wrocław in 2022. In addition to the concert in Poland, the band is also preparing many concerts in Great Britain, the United States and Canada.
The multiple Grammy Award winner recently released a new song titled “Mustang,” which is from his ninth studio album, “Can We Please Have Fun”. This album will be released on May 10, 2024.
As the title suggests, Can We Please Have Fun is a documentary of a band constantly trying new things and having a lot of fun doing it. Recorded at Dark Horse studio in Nashville under the supervision of Kid Harpoon (Harry Styles, Florence + The Machine), the album shows a new face of Kings Of Leon. On this album, the band, on the one hand, returns to its rough beginnings, but on the other hand, it has a lot of new things to offer. On “Can We Please Have Fun,” fans will hear a band united in vision and purpose, free from any expectations and recording the album that – as its members declare – they always wanted to create.
“I’ve never had so much fun recording an album before,” declares Caleb Followill. Nathan adds: “It’s like we allowed ourselves to be musically sensitive. I love it when a rock band isn’t ashamed to admit that not every song has to be all the way loud.”
The band has big plans for this year and is ready to take on the world. “When you have a team, there is a bond that is unlike anything else. When you have a family, it is also a bond unlike any other. We have both. I thought if we put all our energy into it, we will “Who can stop us? Who can stop us but ourselves?” – Caleb comments.

Since their debut in 2003, Kings Of Leon have released eight albums: “Youth & Young Manhood” (2003), “Aha Shake Heartbreak” (2004), “Because of the Times” (2007), “Only by the Night” (2008), “Come Around Sundown” (2010), “Mechanical Bull” (2013), “WALLS” (2016) i “When You See Yourself” (2021), which have sold over 20 million copies worldwide.
Caleb (guitar and vocals), Nathan (drums), Jared (bass) and Matthew (guitar) Followils contributed another 40 million by selling singles. The group has released many platinum albums and five singles listed on the Billboard Hot 100. Each of the albums released by Kings Of Leon was listed on the Billboard Top 200, and one of them – “WALLS” – reached the very top of the charts.
The band has been nominated for eight Grammys and has won three awards, as well as NME, BRIT and Juno awards. The artists toured around the world, performing at the largest and most prestigious festivals, including Lollapalooza, Glastonbury and Bonnaroo. They also appeared in Poland several times – most recently in Wrocław in 2022.
