Kenneth Colley began his professional career as an actor in 1961, appearing in London Old Vic, The Royal Court Theater and Royal Shakespeare Company. Apparently, he often stuttered, but this defect always disappeared when he appeared on the stage.
He is best known for his role in the popular series of films “Star Wars”. He played the company Pietta, who served as the first officer Star Dreadnought Executor under the command of Admiral Kendal Ozzla (Michael Sheard) in the “Empire counterattacks” (1980), and then took command of the ship after the death of Ozzel at the hands of Vadera. Unexpectedly, he re -played the figure in the “Return of the Jedi” (1983). “I got a phone call from my agent that there were many letters from fans about this character, and George (Lucas) decided to put it in the next film,” he said. He also had his involvement in the installment of 2012 “Lego Star Wars: Empire counterattacks”.
He collaborated with director Ken Russell many times, which resulted in seven joint films: “The Music Lovers” (1971), “The Devils” (1971), “The Boy Friend” (1971), “Mahler” (1974), “Lisztomania” (1975), “The Rainbow” (1975) and “Prisoner of Honor “(1991).
