Kazik Staszewski: I’ve already written all the songs
The Cult Leader admitted that he does not feel the need to prepare any more songs today. He did not announce the definitive end of his musical work, but at the moment he believes that his achievements are complete.
“It seems to me that as of today I have written all the songs. However, it doesn’t make me particularly sad, and maybe they will be found somewhere else, but in general I don’t know about it yet. But as of today, I think I have written all of them,” he confessed.
Staszewski intends to continue appearing on stage because he still enjoys concerts. However, he does not want to return to the old pace or subordinate his life to new professional obligations.
“Not by pressing the gas pedal. Not by trying to prove anything to yourself or others,” he explained.
Kazik is working on two books
Writing books now took the place of new songs. Kazik announced two publications, one of which is almost completed. However, he has to wait for the first part, which the musician is still working on.
“I want to publish two books and the second one is already almost ready. All that remains is editing and organizing everything, but it can only be published as the second one,” he revealed.
Kazik had wanted to write a book for a long time, but he couldn’t imagine working at a computer, typewriter or with paper and pen. As he admitted, he finally found a way that suits him, and preparing the text gives him “pure pleasure”.
