JK Rowling attacks stars who defended transgender people

In entries from April 10, 2024, Rowling referred to the transition process in children. One of the commenters wrote that “waiting for Dan (Radcliffe) and Emma (Watson) to publicly apologize to you… I know you will forgive them”.

The writer wrote that even if the actors asked her for forgiveness, they would not be able to count on it. “Celebrities who support a movement that undermines women's hard-worked rights and uses their popularity to promote underage transition can reserve their apologies to traumatized people who regret their decision and to women who have been given same-sex spaces” – the author replied “Harry Potter”.

Radcliffe and Watson they have been supporting transgender people for years. It should be noted, however, that both of them have never commented on the transition of minors.

Rowling first spoke out against transgender people in June 2020. When she was criticized for this, she stated that “she does not want to bow to a movement that she believes does obvious harm to women and tries to destroy them as a political and biological class, as well as offering protection to predators”.
