“He sings in Polish in a way that no one else sings. I call it the modesty of singing,” he says. Jacek Cygan in the document. “It is the essence of Polishness, a bit like Chopin’s music. You hear a few bars and your heart begins to feel soft,” adds the critic. Tomasz Raczek.

Irena Santor returns to the stage. “Really surprised”

On December 17, at the Roma Theater in Warsaw, there will be a concert to celebrate her birthday with a guest appearance Alicja Majewska, Włodzimierz Korcz, Michał Bajor, Krzysztof Cugowski, Ania Dąbrowska and Igor Herbut.

After the New Year, the singer will go on tour, on which she will be accompanied by young artists from the band Polyphonics Choir & Band. They will mainly sing her songs.

“Ms. Irena watches over how they are interpreted. She shares her thoughts, but is absolutely not pushy with her suggestions. Above all, she is touched and truly surprised by how her songs sound when performed by young people,” says the conductor and pianist Paweł Głowiński.

“She chose all the songs for them, she carefully supervises the purely musical aspect, we discussed the arrangements of the songs together and she is actually at every rehearsal,” he adds.
