“Inside Out 2”: Two million people have already watched the record-breaking animation in Poland

“I can’t believe it 2” is a story told in a way that is characteristic of Pixar – with humor and deep, moving wisdom, which invariably reach viewers of all ages. Pixar once again touches on an important topic. This time, these are difficult emotions, which – especially in adolescence – can be very strong and cause a lot of confusion in a young person’s life. “Inside Out 2” shows what happens in the heads of teenagers and how we can support them in getting used to new emerging feelings.

In the film, we see the teenage Riley known from the first part, who is facing a big life change – starting high school. The headquarters (the girl’s head) is undergoing renovation, the aim of which is to prepare the space for completely new emotions that appear suddenly. The ones who have been working as an efficient team so far – Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust – will have to make friends with uninvited guests – Fear, Shame, Jealousy and Boredom and learn to cooperate with them.

In the Polish language version of the film, the voices of the characters were lent by: Małgorzata Socha (Joy), Maja Ostaszewska (Repulsion), Olga Sarzyńska (Fear), Cezary Pazura (Fear), Kinga Preis (Sadness). The Polish dubbing was directed by Agnieszka Zwolińska, and the author of the dialogues was Kuba Wecsile.

Recall that the sequel to Inside Out, which premiered on June 12, quickly broke box office records. After six weeks in theaters, the production has already earned $1.462 billion globally. Thanks to this impressive result, Pixar’s film has become the highest-grossing animated film in history!

So far, the top spot on the podium was occupied by “Frozen 2” (2019), which grossed $1.454 billion in cinemas worldwide.

The animated film also moved up the list of the highest-grossing productions without division into genres. It currently ranks 13th, behind, among others, Greta Gerwig’s “Barbie” ($1.445 billion), last year’s biggest hit.
