Heroine “I miss you” played by Rosalind Eleazar (“Lame Horses”) is Kat Donovan, a detective who, according to the novel, returns to two unfinished cases from the past, connected with two men who were once very important to her: her fiancé who abandoned her and her tragically deceased father. The woman finds herself on the trail of a criminal group that uses human emotions and loneliness to achieve their goals.
Eleazar will star alongside Richard Armitage, Jessica Plummer, James Nesbitt and Ashley Walters. The series is based on Harlan Coben’s 2014 novel “Missing You”. Production began in March of this year. “Missing You” is set to have five episodes, but a premiere date has not yet been announced.
“We have a great cast and crew, so I can’t wait. I think it’s going to be my most gripping series yet, and the ending is going to surprise not only the viewers. I recently rewatched it and I was completely fooled by the ending – and I wrote it,” Harlan Coben told Digital Spy.
So far, eight novels by Harlan Coben, a popular American author, have been adapted for the screen and made available on Netflix. Some were made in the UK: “Safe” (2018), “The Stranger” (2020) and “Stay Close” (2021), “You Can’t Fool Me Anymore” (2024), two in Poland: “The Woods” (2020) and “Keep Calm” (2022), as well as one in Spain: “The Innocent” (2021) and France: “Gone For Good” (2021).
