The series is produced by TFP on behalf of Telewizja Polsat.
Screenings of “Hostages” at the BNP Paribas Warsaw SerialCon festival are scheduled for two days:
- Kinoteka, December 4, at 19.15
- Kinoteka, December 5, at 6.00 p.m. – show preceded by a panel discussion.
One December evening, just before Christmas, members of the Oster family become hostages in their own home after a robbery. Only one person from the family can go outside. This is Eryka Oster (Magdalena Różczka), who is given a task by the attackers – as a doctor, she is to bring about the death of a well-known businessman (Jan Englert) during a routine operation. If the patient doesn’t die on the operating table, her entire family will die. The dramatic demand placed on Erika forces her to make extremely difficult decisions.
The BNP Paribas Warsaw SerialCon festival will continue from December 4 to 8. All screenings will take place in seven cinema halls and in the common areas of the Kinoteka in the Palace of Culture and Science. The chance to watch TV series in a cinema is an extraordinary opportunity that does not come along often. The organizer of the event is the OFF CAMERA Foundation, and the partner is the capital city of Warsaw. The title partner of the festival is Bank BNP Paribas.
