A real treat for fans of the series “Chernobyl” directed by Johan Renck! The first two episodes of the series will be shown at 4 p.m., followed by a meeting with Jared Harris, who played the role of Valery Legasov.
In addition, already waiting for participants: “The Office PL” (season 3, episodes 10, 11), “Absolute debutants” (episode 1, 2), “Simple matter” (episode 1, 5), “1670” (ep. 3, 7), “Infamia” (ep. 5, 6), “Crusade 2: The Sign of the Gemini” (ep. 1, 9), “Warszawianka” (episodes 1, 2), “Game with Shadows” (episodes 2, 5).
They all take part in the first edition of the competition, in which the international jury will award prizes in eight categories:

– Best script BNP Paribas Tomorrow’s Icon
It’s up to you who will win the Audience Award, so don’t forget to vote after the screening of the series. The TV Series consists of spaces in front of the entrance to the Kinoteka (outer zone) and in the Starzyński Hall in the Palace of Culture and Science (inner zone).
In the Starzyński Room at the Palace of Culture and Science, a special space was created, arranged by streaming services – the so-called showcase zone. These will be interactive and dynamic spaces that will offer attractions inspired by popular series. Its spaces have been arranged by, among others: Canal+, MAX, SkyShowtime, admission to them will be completely free. Moreover, in the same space, the organizers planned interviews with the stars of “Stars on Stage by BNP Paribas”.

In turn, right in front of the Kinoteka, an open-air TV Series Town will be built, which will certainly attract the attention of passers-by and TV series fans. There is a free carousel planned in the space, as well as a real polonaise that will take you to the atmosphere of the 80s and the TV series “07 zgpowiedz się”. You can also visit the multimedia zone there along with the information point, where competitions will be organized on December 4-6 this year.
Discussion panels have also been prepared, during which you will be able to listen to conversations with actors, creators and representatives of the creative industry. Admission is free! We start the series with a panel: WARSAW NIGHTS: Dream about Warsaw. His guests will be: Błażej Hrapkowicz (moderator), Jakub Stolecki, Aneta Hickinbotham, Katarzyna Czajka Kominiarczuk, Anna Jaroch, Marcin Strachota.
SerialCon Industry is starting, a three-day event that is a space for building relationships, exchanging experiences and discussing the latest trends and the future of TV series – new products, difficulties, opportunities and solutions. On December 4, INDUSTRY accreditation holders will receive: a lecture on research on best practices in the development of the film sector, led by Leon Forde, and panels: who is a showrunner?, We need more! Discussion about incentives and case study!
And in the evening there will be a ceremonial opening of the 1st BNP Paribas Warsaw SerialCon, during which Jared Harris will receive the CUTTING EDGE special award. It is awarded to creators who blur the boundaries between the world of TV series and film. They are constantly looking for new and original ways of telling episodic stories and breaking genre conventions. They follow paths that require commitment, effectiveness and consistency. The award aims to distinguish personalities who tackle bold and significant topics, promote diversity and break stereotypes through their actions.
