Henry Cavill your dream Bond? The fake trailer is causing a stir on the Internet

Cavill was one of the favorites for the role of agent 007 during the casting “Casino Royale”. He was then deemed too young and ultimately lost to Daniel Craig. Recently, the film “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare” had its premiere in the United States, in which the actor played Gus March-Phillipps, the original Bond.

While promoting the film on “The Rich Eisen Show”, Cavill was asked if he had heard about who would play 007 after Craig. “I have no idea. I can only share rumors. I have the same information as you,” said the Superman actor. “I may be too old (for the role), or I may not be. We'll see what (producers) plan.”

Although, according to unconfirmed information, Aaron Taylor-Johnson was offered the role of Bond, some fans still hope that Cavill will play the most famous MI6 agent. The fake trailer only heated up the atmosphere. The video has already had over 2.75 million views.

Martin Campbell, director of “Casino Royale”, recalled meeting Cavill during the casting for the film. “He turned out great. His acting talent was enormous. If there was no Daniel in the world, Henry would be a great Bond. He looked great, he was in excellent shape, he is very handsome. He just looked too young then,” said the director in an interview for “Express UK” .

When asked whether Cavill should reapply for the role of Bond, Campbell once again noted how well he performed in the casting. He immediately added that the actor was already in his forties, so after the second or third film he would be around fifty.
