Some time ago, Henry Cavill suffered an injury while preparing for “immortal” filming. It was not given what exactly happened to the actor, but it was talked about the possible shift of photos to January 2026.
The actor published photos from the latest preparations for the film on his Instagram. We see him in the gym and during rehabilitation with the leg in the stabilizer. After the entry, he decided to quote the words from the iconic game “Planescape: Torment”: “perseverance. Perseverance gives strength.”
Not only Henry Cavill as a macleod will take part in the remake of “Immortal” directed by Chad Stahelski. We will also see other known faces. Performers: Russell Crowe as Ramirez, Dave Bautista as Kalgan and Karen Gillan as Heather, a beloved hero. Djimon Hounsou, Max Zhang, Drew McIntyre and Marisa Abel will also appear, and recently Jeremy Irons, Oscar winner, Tony Award and Emmy joined the cast.
The original with Christopher Lambert and Sean Connerime talked about the eternal struggle of immortal, played for centuries – from Scotland to Contemporary New York. Although the film was not immediately a cash hit, it gained the cult status over time and had a few continuation, the television series and the Reich of Real Fans.
“Immortal” had three sequels from 1991, 1994 and 2000. At the moment we do not know when the film will debut in theaters.
The production is responsible, among others Scott Stuber and Nick Nesbitt from UA, Neal H. Moritz, Studio 87eleven Entertainment Stahelski and Josh Davis and Louise Rosner. UA has secured the rights to the original film, and there is also a new series – perhaps even more immortal on the screen.
