Chris Chibnall, the creator of “Broadchurch” and the scriptwriter of the adventures of “Doctor Who” (or more precisely, Thirteen, played by Jodie Whittaker), will produce a series for Netflix based on the crime novel by Agatha Christie entitled “The Mystery of the Seven Dials”.
“England, 1925. A prank played during a party in a country house takes a macabre and deadly turn. The task of solving the blood-curdling mystery falls to a person whom no one would expect to have the makings of a detective – the energetic and inquisitive Lady Eileen “Bundle” Brent, whose life will be forever changed by the mystery of a provincial household,” we read in the official description of the series.
The production will consist of three parts and will debut on January 15. In the main role, as Lady Eileen, we will see Mia McKenna-Bruce and Helena Bonham Carter (Lady Caterham) and Martin Freeman (Battle). Corey Mylchreest (Gerry Wade), Ed Bluemel (Jimmy Thesinger) and Nabhaan Rizwan (Ronnie Devereux) will also appear alongside them.
