The 20th anniversary edition of the program “Your face sounds familiar”, is slowly approaching the grand finale. After seven episodes, she is the favorite to win Maria Tyszkiewicz (142 points). They are behind her back Filip Summer (139) i Mateusz Ziółko (135).
The list of participants – finalists of previous editions of the Polsat show – is supplemented Katarzyna Skrzynecka, Stefano Terrazino, Kacper Kuszewski, Barbara Kurdej-Szatan and Aleksandra Szwed.
They evaluate their metamorphoses and stage performances Małgorzata Walewska, Robert Janowski and Piotr Gąsowskiwho co-hosted the show for 17 editions with Maciej Dowbor (currently accompanies him Maciej Rock). The anniversary edition also featured a new trainer who prepares the participants in terms of acting. Marcin Przybylski, who himself was a participant in the 2nd edition of the music show, is a professor of theater arts and an academic lecturer. We also know him from many film, TV and theater roles.
Below you can preview a fragment of Friday's episode (starting at 20:05). Mateusz Ziółko this time played the role of… Teddy Swims in his hit song “Lose Control” (check!). “He's the kind of guy who sometimes sings. During the breaks between his ornaments,” Mateusz says about him.
Robert Janowski as the song's title suggests, he “lost control” – he went crazy, jumping and whistling on his fingers.

The singer was born on September 25, 1992. Jaten Collin Dimsdale (that's his real name) grew up in Conyers, Georgia. He was interested in music early in his life by his father, who introduced his son to the works of iconic American singers such as Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder Whether Al Green. As a child, the singer was a great fan of American football – he played this discipline for over a decade. One of Jaten's high school teachers noticed his musical talent and suggested that he join the choir and the school theater. It was there that he gained his first stage experience, performing in musicals and adaptations of Shakespeare's plays. In the meantime, he started learning to play various instruments, including: on piano and ukulele.
The artist began his musical career by joining various Atlanta bands, including an alternative rock band WildHeart and a post-hardcore group Eris. For some time he was also the band's vocalist Elefvnts, which plays music on the border of progressive rock, R&B and soul. In early 2019, Dimsdale joined his friend Addy Maxwellwith whom he supported on stage Tyler Carter. Jaten then began performing under the stage name Teddy Swims.
The song “Lose Control” owes its popularity to the social media platform TikTok, and often used by users for videos, it eventually broke through to the radio. After a few months, in March 2024, the song from the debut album “I've Tried Everything but Therapy (Part 1)” won the first place on the prestigious Billboard magazine list.
