Google has offered affordable Chromecast TV boxes for years. There have been rumors for some time that the Mountain View giant was working on a device with greater capabilities. The rumors turned out to be true, because we have just seen the official announcement of a device called .

Google TV Streamer 4K is a new set-top box that can be connected to a TV and thus use the platform of the giant from Mountain View and all the applications dedicated to it. The device is the spiritual successor to Chromecast and offers greater possibilities.
