The action of the latest film is to take place shortly after the great fight between Godzilla and King Kong, which we saw in the finale of “Godzilla vs. Kong”. However, this time the monsters will have to join forces to face a hidden evil that threatens both the existence of monsters and humanity. We will learn more about the Titans and their origins, and discover the secrets of Skull Island.
In previous interviews, the director emphasized that he wanted to minimize the human aspect and put the monsters in the foreground.
The “Godzilla” franchise has recently been reaping a heavy harvest of keen interest from fans of the powerful beasts, and Warner Bros. wants to draw from this universe to the fullest. “Godzilla and Kong: A New Empire” will hit Polish cinemas on April 12, 2024.
