The Furia band has been proving for years that they can set new directions for the Polish metal scene. Fans could watch them on the stage of the National Stary Theater in Krakow, in “Wesele” directed by Jan Klata, two years ago they were nominated for “Polityka’s Passports”, and recently their album “Księżyc milczy luty” was named the 25th anniversary album by Musick Magazine.
Design “Fury Game Cinema” was created in cooperation with the Silesia Film Film Institution in Katowice on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Silesian Film Archive – the only regional film archive. Now the band’s fans have another opportunity to take part in it and see this concert spectacle in unique spaces, carefully selected in five Polish cities.
“Furia Gra Kino” is much more than a live concert combined with a film screening – during the event, image and sound intertwine, offering an extraordinary journey into the past of Silesia. In May this year, with the band’s classic set enriched with improvised parts, film images from Silesia will come to life and fill cinemas and theaters all over Poland with ghosts. The band invites you to a unique “Furia Gra Kino” tour to Poznań (CK Zamek, May 15), Warsaw (Kino Palladium, May 21), Gdańsk (Shakespeare Theater, May 22), Łódź (Monopolis, May 23) and Krakow (Klub Studio, May 24).
Attention! The event includes intense light and sound effects.
No accompanying band will perform on the “Furia Gra Kino” tour. The film presented during the concert will be complemented by a narration by Krzysztof Zawadzki, and Bogna Przewoźniak, a visual artist who has been collaborating with the band for years, is responsible for the live editing of the image and its visual interpretation.
