“For better and for worse”: Pola Gonciarz as Blanka. I can't believe how old he is!

Born in 1998 in Warsaw Pola Gonciarz is an actress well known to Polish viewers for her role as Blanka Consalida in the series “For good and for bad“. Before she joined the permanent cast of the production beloved by Poles in 2014, she played – as a little girl – in two episodes of the first Polish medical series. She was only 3 years old when she made her debut in front of the camera. A dozen or so years later she returned to the set, but at that time she had no intention of becoming a professional actress because she dreamed of becoming a ballerina.

Pola Gonciarz has been learning classical dance for almost a decade. When she started playing Blanka in the Golden Telekamera-winning TVP2 series, she was a second-grade student at the Ballet School. Roman Turczynowicz in Warsaw.

“Every day on my way to school, I passed the building of the Theater Academy on Miodowa Street. One day I promised myself that I would study here one day. It was my first choice,” she told Interia when she got into her dream university in 2018.

Pola took the entrance exams for acting studies only a year after graduating from high school. “After graduating from high school, I was still finishing matters related to ballet, but at the same time I was looking for texts and songs and learning to interpret them,” she said in an interview.

A few months before winning the index, the young star of “For Good and for Bad” took part in the “Young Dancer of the Year” competition and fought for the opportunity to represent Poland at the Dance Eurovision Song Contest. Even though she didn't win, she was still a great success – she took first place in the viewers' vote.

Although it seems that we have been watching Blanka in “Na dobre i na evil” almost forever, the actress is only… 25 years old! You could say that this is just the beginning of her acting career. Last year, Pola boasted on social media that her education had come to an end. “From today: Ms. Master of Arts. A certain stage has ended in my life,” she wrote under the photo in which she posed with her master's thesis.

In recent years, Pola Gonciarz could be seen in episodic roles in various Polish films and series. She appeared, among others, in “Wesele” by Wojciech Smarzowski from 2021, in one of the episodes of the series “My Agent”. Recently, the latest film with her participation had its cinema premiere – “Woman with…” directed by Małgorzata Szumowska. Gonciarz appeared in the role of Andrzej/Aniela's sister-in-law in her youth.

Last fall, she took part in the program “Your Face Sounds Familiar” and took sixth place.

In the 918th episode of “For good and bad” (broadcast on Wednesday, April 17 at 8:55 p.m. on TVP2) Mario (Marcin Korcz) will surprise Blanka (Pola Gonciarz) with a gift in the form of a sweet puppy. Her reaction to the surprise will greatly upset the gangster. Consalida will finally realize that she doesn't know her husband at all, and the worst thing is that they have completely different opinions on the most important matters.

– We can't have a child, we can't have a dog, I don't know… maybe a turtle? – Milewski gets angry.

– Hey, don't make me feel guilty, okay? – Blanka will ask.

– Are you sure you have to become a surgeon? – the mafioso asked directly.

– What? – Blanka will ask, not entirely sure of her husband's intentions.

– I respect your ambitions, but it would be a shame if you missed out on your whole life just to cut out someone's gallbladder – he says through his teeth.

Blanka will stop dead after what she hears. A little outraged and a little confused, she won't know what to say…
