The film was based on a story by Stephen King, who long ago won the title of Master of Horror. The main character is a writer dealing with paranormal phenomena. Mike Enslin is preparing to write a new book and decides to solve the mystery of a certain hotel room. He is convinced that the bad reputation of Peace 1408 is just a myth and the imagination of bored people. Of course, on his way he meets people who warn him about the danger that awaits him, but he doesn't care much about it and wants to prove that the terrifying events are mere coincidences. He quickly learns how wrong he was.

What is real and what is a dream? What will you do to get what you want most? Nina (Natalie Portman) is willing to sacrifice a lot to get the main role in the famous ballet performance “Swan Lake”. Ballet is her whole life, although her mother's role in it is also important, as she fueled her ambition to an unhealthy level.

When everything starts to go according to Nina's plan, a new dancer appears on the horizon – Lily. A young and talented woman becomes the main character's rival, and the situation begins to escalate.

A trip as a couple sounds like a good idea to repair your relationship. Especially if you can go to completely unknown areas. This decision is made by Dani (Florence Pugh) and Christian, who go to Scandinavia at the invitation of a friend. They have the opportunity to look at very old rituals related to the summer solstice. What was supposed to be a tourist attraction turns into disturbing rituals that end with the death of the participants, and a similar fate may befall the main characters.

Nick and Amy seem to have a rather happy marriage until, on the day of their anniversary, he reports his wife missing. With every minute of the film, the man becomes more and more depressed, and everyone seriously asks themselves: is Nick really behind the disappearance of his wife?
