In the 1990s Faith No More they were considered great rock music stars. Plates “Angel Dust” (1992) i “King for a Day… Fool for a Lifetime” (1995) were hugely successful when released, and today they have the status of classics. They were also widely reported due to the conflict with the media, which was inflated by the media Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Nevertheless, the group, at the very peak of its popularity, ended its activities. After many years, the musicians returned to the stage. In 2015, they released the album “Sol Invictus”, with which they went on tour, also visiting Poland. However, over time, there were fewer and fewer performances and everything indicates that the situation will not change.
Will Faith No More not return to the stage?
Keyboardist of Faith No More, Roddy Bottum he recently gave an interview to “Alternative Nation”, where he was asked about the possibility of the band’s return. The musician left no doubts with his answer.
“I don’t think so. No. I don’t think anyone wants to do that at the moment. We were supposed to play a few shows, but they were canceled. For various reasons. I don’t think we would change our course. Honestly, I don’t see it happening. Sure, coming back would mean a big injection of cash, but I think we’re all happy with what we did artistically and happy with the decisions we made. I don’t know what would have to happen for us to come back and play a few more shows,” he explained.
Faith No More last appeared on stage in 2016. The band was supposed to return in 2021, but the performances were canceled. The reason turned out to be Mike Patton’s mental problems, who also resigned from concerts with his second band at that time, Mr. Bungle.
