Polish fans were impatiently waiting for official information about our country’s participation in Eurovision. The Polish national team has been participating in the competition since 1994 (with minor breaks in 2000, 2002 and 2012-2013) – then Edyta Górniak she became our representative and won second place for her country in the final. So far, this result remains the best in the history of Polish performances at Eurovision.
This year Justyna Steczkowska tried their hand at international musical competition, delighting with a spectacular song show “Gaia”. In the TVP program “Question for breakfast” news was delivered that pleased Eurovision fans from Poland. Our country has confirmed its participation in next year’s competition, which will take place in Vienna. It is also known that Poland will send its representative, who will be elected via SMS voting. Applications for pre-selection have just started.
“Recruitment for the pre-selection for Eurovision 2026 starts today. It will last until November 24. Now artists can take the next step and take part in pre-selections. (…) The song cannot last longer than three minutes. Its premiere, or any fragment of this song, could not take place before September 1. We invite all those who think their song will do well,” she announced Marta Surnik on breakfast TV.
