Earth Festival is an event that aims to promote ecological values. “A small change multiplied by billions of people gives a global change,” the organizers claim.
This year, the festival’s motto is “I love this country.” Artists will present selected pieces that illustrate the most beautiful places in Poland.
The highlight of the event will be the Sunday concert, which will be available to watch live on the Interia main page and on Polsat. The performances will be accompanied by recordings from the most beautiful corners of our country.
The following will appear on stage: Maryla Rodowicz, Alicja Majewska, Kamil Bednarek, Zakopower, Staszek z Gór, Julia Pietrucha, Wiktor Dyduła, Kaliber 44 feat. Fokus & Rahim & Kleszcz, Wiktor Waligóra, Natalia Nykiel, Majka Jeżowska, Mała Army Janosika, Weronika Korthals, Konin Gospel Choirand they will be accompanied by Stokłosa Collective Orchestra under the direction of Jan Stokłosa.
“During this year’s, and importantly, the seventh edition of the festival, we want to focus on our beautiful Poland. We take care of the places we love, so with us and future generations in mind, we want to promote an idea that will encourage joint care for the environment in our immediate surroundings. Think globally, act locally – this slogan is closer to us than ever before. And this year in Uniejów, we want to encourage this in particular,” says the festival’s originator and co-organizer, Mariusz Woźniczka.
The festival lasts two days and offers other educational and ecological attractions. On July 6, the eco-town was launched, and children can take part in creative activities and competitions with prizes.
On Saturday, there was also a screening of the series “Nature’s Peepers” from Polsat Play and a family movie “Yeti Mission”. It was also possible to take part in a meeting with Jakub Tylman – author of children’s books about ecology.
The concert will be broadcast on Polsat TV and on the Interia Home Page from 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 7.
