In the second one, we will see him become a leader,” the star revealed. In the sequel to “Dune” the following will also return to their roles: Zendaya, Josh Brolin, Dave Bautista, Stellan Skarsgård, Charlotte Rampling and Javier Bardem. The new faces will include: Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Christopher Walker, Léa Seydoux and Anya Talor-Joy.

Both parts of “Dune” made by Villenueve are adaptations of the famous novel by Frank Herbert. The director immediately decided that two films should be made, because the novel was too large to fit the events described in one. But this became possible only because the first part received great ratings from viewers and critics. The second part of the production is one of the most anticipated films of 2023. It was originally scheduled to hit theaters on November 3, 2023. However, due to strikes in Hollywood, the premiere of the production had to be postponed.
