“Furioza” is a film inspired by real events about the world of football fans and their women. The film’s script was created for several years and is based on real accounts of gangsters, journalists and agents of the Central Police Investigation Bureau.
After entering streaming, the first “Furioza” turned out to be a hit on the platform Netflix. No wonder the creators decided to create a sequel. “The Second Furioza” has been available on the streaming service since October 15 and remains among the top films.
As it turns out, Cyprian T. Olecki’s film delighted not only Poles. The production was among the recent recommendations of the online edition of the New York Times. Journalist Robert Daniels has collected international action films in his list that are worth watching because of their expressive characters.
“The director not only gives his film a globetrotting flavor, but also turns up the level of violence,” writes Daniels.
“Golden (Mateusz Damięcki) moves from hand-to-hand combat, which once defined the action in the film, to batons (…). Damięcki is amazing in this role. He presents a ‘get rich or die trying’ fighting attitude, interspersed with undisguised regret,” he adds. He even suggested that the hero of “The Second Fury” is straight out of the cult “Scarface”.
Other recommendations for the car include titles such as “Mutiny”, “She Rides Shotgun” and “Mantis”.
