Until recently, she delighted on the catwalks of the most important fashion houses, today she is preparing for the film debut. Deva Cassel, daughter of Monika Bellucci and Vincent Cassel, does not intend to limit herself to the fashion world. The 20 -year -old enters a new phase of her career, reaching for dreams rooted in the family DNA – acting.
Although the names of Cassel and Bellucci open many doors, Deva wants to pave her career. Her adventure with fashion began rapidly and at the highest level – cooperation with Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino and Prada was ensured by the status of the ZE generation SUPERAGIES. Now, however, it turns out that the headlight lights on the catwalks are not enough for her. The young star decided to follow in the footsteps of her parents and try her hand at the camera.
The first serious step towards acting is the role in the new version of the classic “leopard”, the production of Netflix. However, this is just the beginning. Cassel is already working on another project that has a chance to win the hearts of a younger audience. It is a modern adaptation of “Phantom of the Opera”, which is to be kept in a romantic atmosphere à la “Twilight”. Photos start in the summer, and Deva will play the main heroine.
Although her calendar bursts at the seams, Deva still finds time to shine in the showrooms. During the last Dior show in Rome, she appeared in a stylization, which immediately hit the top fashion portals. White dress with bare shoulders, the iconic Lady Dior handbag and loosely falling, natural curls. Class and freshness that make the media call it a contemporary style icon.
It is no secret that being a child of two legends of cinema is associated with great pressure, but Deva does not treat it as a burden. It motivates her to act. Her career is just gaining momentum, and everything indicates that the name Cassel will not disappear from cinema poster.
