The series “Dept. Q” is based on the series “Department Q” of the Danish author Jussi Adler-Olsen about … specialists in hopeless. In Poland, ten volumes were published by Sonia Draga. Based on the story, four full -length films were already made in Denmark – “The Keper of Lost Causes”, “The Absent One”, “A Conspiracy of Faith”, “The Purity of Vengeance”. Nikolaj Lie Kaas (the main character of Carl Mørck) and Fares Fares (Assad) played in all productions.
In the series “Dept. Q” Netflix in the main character, Carl Morck, plays Matthew Goode (“Book of Witches”, “Perfect wife”). Carl is a great clay, but also a guy who can’t get along with others, which doesn’t bring him fans. After the unsuccessful campaign, Carl “is sent to the basement and is the only member of the Q Department, a newly created unit dealing with unresolved matters. The department is a PR grip, aimed at diverting public attention from the failure of the underfunded, falling police, which would gladly get rid of him from his ranks. They have nothing to lose. “
The premiere of the series was announced on May 29, 2025. A trailer of production was provided on the official social channels of Netflix.
