In March 2022, the family Bruce Willis announced that the actor was ending his career due to his health condition. Doctors diagnosed him with aphasia, which is a gradual loss of the ability to communicate. On the star’s condition “Die Hard” Demi Moore, his ex-wife, spoke out.
“Considering his situation, his condition is stable,” she told Barrymore.
Moore also revealed details about her relationship with her daughters — Rumer, Scout and Tallulah. “I’ve always told my kids that I don’t get attached to who they used to be. You can’t expect them to stay the same or be who I imagined them to be. They’re going to be who they are at that moment,” the actress said.
“Because of this approach, we share so many beautiful and joyful moments, full of love and sweetness,” she continued. “When I’m in Los Angeles, which I am every weekend, I really treasure our time together.”
Moore was married to Willis from 1987 to 2000. Despite their divorce, the two remained friendly. The actress even attended her ex-husband’s 2018 roast, and while she was sarcastic, it was clear that the two were very close.
“I’ve raised three beautiful, wonderful children. Four, if you count Bruce. And then there were the dogs and Ashton (Kutcher, with whom Moore was in a relationship from 2005 to 2013), so there’s more to come,” she said during her performance, to the amusement of the audience, including her daughters and Willis.
