Danny Saucedo Grzechowski was born in 1986 in Stockholm, Sweden (he was born into a family of emigrants – his father comes from Poland and his mother from Bolivia). His musical career began in 2006 with the program “Idol”where he finished sixth.
This was only the beginning of the road on which two of his biggest hits so far awaited him – “Tokyo” (check!) and “If Only You”. On the wave of popularity he appeared on festival in Sopot (2008) to compete in the Amber Nightingale competition (he took fourth place). A year later, he joined the group in the same place EMD He has performed many times in his father's homeland, including: duet with Sasha Strunin (“Emely”)Poland's representative at Eurovision 2007 with a duet The Jet Set.
Later, like many promising singers, he fell into oblivion on the world's stages. In Sweden, however, his career is going well.
Just a year after his debut, in 2007, Danny released his first album “Heart Beats”. The album brought him popularity thanks to its hit songs. His career gained momentum with his participation in popular Swedish entertainment programs such as “Let's Dance” and “Så ska det lata”.
Danny has repeatedly tried to represent Sweden at Eurovision (the contest is very popular in this country). He appeared in the preselections many times – in 2009, 2011, 2021 and 2024. In 2024, on the Swedish stage, he presented the song “Happy That You Found Me”, he reached the finals, where, however, he only took sixth place.
Once known for his platinum hairstyle, today Danny prefers a shorter, more natural cut. Somewhere he lost his boyish charm and grew up. He still creates music, performs and is active on social media. His Instagram profile is followed by almost 350,000 people. There is a belief in the music industry that Saucedo contributed significantly to the rise of pop music in Sweden. What else awaits him in the future? This remains to be seen.
