Daniel Craig remembers playing James Bond. “Some moments were difficult, strange and emotionally heavy”

Before taking on the role of James Bond, Daniel Craig had already built an impressive acting career. In 1992, he made his debut on the big screen as Sergeant Jaapie Botha in the drama “The Call of Liberty”. His breakthrough role on television was George “Geordie” Peacock in the BBC series Our Friends in the North. He attracted attention by playing in the films: “Elizabeth”, :ara Croft: Tomb Raider”, “Madness” and “Munich”.

In a recent interview with film critic Mark Kermod, he admitted that he had fond memories of those times.

“I was working and had a little bit of fame where someone bought me a drink at a bar. But I could still go anywhere,” the actor said.

His popularity rose to new heights after playing the most famous agent in the world – James Bond. Daniel Craig starred in five films about a Secret Service representative. He admitted that he loved every moment of this adventure, but it was difficult at times.

“Yes. I loved every second of it. Some moments were difficult, strange and emotionally hard for everyone, including my family. “Fame is strange,” said the Briton.

When asked about acting in other films and difficult acting challenges, he replied:

“But what can you do? You either act or you give up. You just have to do it.”

Fans are eagerly waiting for the third installment of the beloved “Knives Out” series, in which the British actor plays the role of detective Benoit Blanc. Most recently, Daniel Craig he appeared in Luca Guadagnino’s new film “Queer”, for which he was nominated for a Golden Globe.

“I’m trying to stay calm, but I can’t, it’s amazing,” he says about the nomination.
