Foreign media reports that Christina Sandera is dead. Clint Eastwood announced the news in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. The star’s partner was 61 years old.
“Christina was a wonderful, caring woman and I will miss her greatly,” Eastwood said.
A Warner Bros. spokesman told The Hollywood Reporter that details about the woman’s death will not be made public.
Clint Eastwood and Christina Sandera have been in a relationship for the past ten years. They met in 2014, when Christina was over 30 years younger than the actor. At the time, the woman was working as a hostess at Eastwood’s Mission Ranch hotel and restaurant. Although the couple could often be spotted at industry events, they were very private.
Eastwood had previously married twice, to model Maggie Johnson and television news anchor Dina Ruiz.
