Directed and written by Takeshi Kitano movie “Broken Rage” This is a 62 -minute crazy and charming curiosity. Production was first shown during last year’s International Film Festival in Venice, but it was only a few days ago that it released in Poland.
The plot focuses on the fate of an inconspicuous, paid killer with the nickname “Mouse” (played by Takeshi Kitano). After the police captured the man, the man agrees to cooperate with representatives of the law, consisting in the infiltration of the cartel. However, the whole story has a second bottom, and a non -obvious twist will certainly surprise many viewers. Kitano approached the latest film very consciously and with a lot of self -irony. All production is fun with the convention of action cinema and the expectations of viewers towards this type of works.
Initially, the whole seems to be very simple – a lot of script gaps, time leaps and understatements move viewers from history and cause consternation. Only with time it turns out that it is a deliberate and thoughtful procedure of the creator. The cinema of action that is in doubt unexpectedly turns into a bizarre comedy of absurdities, in which the main violin plays the director himself and many valued in Japanese actors. The star cast included, among others, Nao ômori (“Outsider”), Hakurywo (“Hana-Bi”) or in recent weeks awarded many times for the supporting role in the series “Szogun” Tadanobu Asano.
