Andrzej Precigs he died on August 26 last year at the age of 74. The actor’s funeral took place in the Halpert chapel at the Lutheran Cemetery in Warsaw.
Andrzej Precigs was a graduate of the Acting Department of the National Film, Television and Theater School. Leon Schiller in Łódź. He performed, among others, at the Theater Ludwik Solski in Tarnów, at the Theater. Stefan Jaracz in Łódź and at the New Theater in Warsaw. He first appeared in a film in 1971. He played an episodic role in the production of “150 per hour”. He gained wide recognition thanks to the series “Daleko od szosy”, in which he played one of Ania’s friends. Then he played, among others, in “The Doll” (Stanisław Wokulski in his youth), “07 zgpowiedz się” (chief officer Krzysztof Kalkowski), or “Nad Niemnem” (Teofil Różyc).
However, the series audience knew him primarily from “Clan” (performed as Professor Julian Deptuła), and also with “M like love“, with whom he was associated almost from the very beginning. In “M jak miłość” he played the role of Zbigniew Filarski: the first husband of Krystyna (Halina Mikuć) and the father of Kinga (Katarzyna Cichopek).
One of the first people to publicly express sadness after Precigs’ death was Cichopek. The TVP star talked about the friendship she had with the actor during the “Pytanie na breakfast” program.
“I would just like to add that he was an incredibly warm man, very family-oriented, my friend, a man I met 23 years ago. I am very sorry. My condolences to the family. Andrzej, daddy, goodbye,” she confessed on the video.
In “M jak miłość”, Zbyszek Filarski was also the first husband of Kinga’s mother, played by Hanna Mikuć. In an interview with “Fakt”, the actress admitted that she was already saying goodbye to her second colleague from the set of the flagship TVP production – Emilian Kamiński, who played the second husband of Mikuć’s character in the series, died in December 2022.
In the 1786th episode of “M jak miłość”, which will be broadcast on Monday, March 4 at 20.55 on TVP2, the scriptwriters will finally end the story of the deceased Andrzej Precigs.
On the fateful day, Filarski still manages to call Zduńska, who reports to Piotrek (Marcin Mroczek) that her father seemed depressed during the conversation. Concerned, Kinga will ask her mother if Filarski also contacted her.
A moment later, Krystyna will give Kinga a courier parcel – a letter and a small case with a ring.
– It’s from dad. He writes that he will take a ferry to Sweden straight from the SPA and he would like this souvenir to be safe at home…
– And he’s a smartass… It’s Zbyszek’s mother’s ring, she gave it to me ages ago, but it got lost after our divorce. I thought I lost it… – Filarska shakes her head.
Still worried, Kinga will dial her father’s number. The answering machine will turn on. “The subscriber is temporarily unavailable or out of range,” you will hear.
In the evening, Kinga will try to call her father again. Unsuccessfully. Her husband tells her to call the SPA where Filarski went. This way he will find out that the ambulance took him to the hospital.
– Dad… died on the way to the hospital… Honey… – Piotrek will inform her some time later.
