Brethren Mattia and Elie Rosinski creating together under the banner BEMY They have gathered a large group of fans on social media – they are followed by over 85,000 on Instagram. people, and has over 155,000 followers on TikTok. This is where they regularly publish viral videos in which they present Polish hits in their own arrangements… sung in French.
The musicians have Polish roots, but were born and raised in France, so they speak two languages and draw inspiration from both Polish and local culture.
In 2013, the brothers decided to return to Poland to try their hand at our domestic music market. They appeared in the sixth edition “Must Be The Music”in the Polsat program, taking second place in the grand finale (the winner of the show was the group ShataQS).
BEMY translates Polish hits into French
Mattia and Elie have so far reached for songs from the repertoire of, among others: Zbigniew Wodecki, Papa Dance, Izabela Trojanowska, Boys, GrubSona, Czesław Niemen Whether Kasia Cerekwicka. They often invite other contractors to cooperate, such as: Mery Spolsky, Natalia Szroeder, Dominik Dudek, Julia Wieniawa, Zalia, Wiktor Dyduła Whether Justyna Steczkowska. They also have a French version of the hit “Azizam” by Ed Sheeran starring this British star. They have been friends with Sheeran for years and once even lived together. In turn, Ed invited BEMY to perform as support at concerts in Poland.
This time the brothers presented in French “Come, hug, forgive”i.e. a ballad Andrzej Piaseczny. Interestingly, it was this singer who appeared at their side.
Internet users quickly reacted to the video: “Omg, the best thing I see today”, “Your voices sound so wonderful together that I feel like I was lying on such a soft cloud of sounds”, “Miracle, honey and nuts”, “How wonderful”, “Elegant”.
With his debut album “Grizzlin” in 2016 they entered the Polish music market. The album brought the band considerable publicity and a nomination for a prestigious award Frederick in the Debut of the Year category. After a break of several years, in mid-2023, BEMY released their second self-titled album “Sorry Not Sorry”.
The band cleverly combines various genres in their music, such as pop, indie rock and groove. Their songs are energetic and full of positive vibes.
